Refund and Return Policy

Scope

This policy applies to purchases made on our website and in our workshop, including comfort upgrades, custom upholstery, and earplugs.


Our warranties

  • Comfort upgrades: satisfaction guaranteed for 30 days after delivery/pickup.

  • Custom upholstery: 6-month warranty on labor (sewing, gluing, installation adjustments).

  • Earplugs: no warranty (personal use product, hygiene).

Note: Warranties cover manufacturing defects or required adjustments. They do not include normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, improper maintenance, accident, or modification by a third party.


Returns and refunds — terms and conditions

Our return policy is valid for 30 days from the date of delivery or taking possession. After 30 days, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return (when permitted):

  • the item must be unused and in its original condition;

  • original packaging where applicable;

  • proof of purchase required (invoice, confirmation email).

Important :

  • Services (labor) already performed are non-refundable.

  • Customized items (e.g., custom-made covers) are non-refundable once work has begun, but remain covered by the above 6-month warranty for correction/repair.

  • Earplugs are final sale (no returns, exchanges, or refunds for hygiene reasons).

  • Sale items are non-refundable.

Examples of non-returnable items: gift cards, digital downloads, personal care items, hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases.


Special cases — adjustments and exchanges

  • Comfort guarantee (30 days): if you are not satisfied with the fit, please email us at info@premiumseat.ca. We will offer you a free adjustment or correction. Monetary reimbursement is not preferred when technical adjustment allows the desired level of comfort to be achieved.

  • Customized cover (6 months): in the event of a manufacturing defect, we will prioritize repair or replacement. If replacement is not possible, a partial refund may be considered depending on the assessment of the condition and use.

  • Defective items/damage upon receipt: please write to us within 7 days of receipt with photos to info@premiumseat.ca; we will arrange for repair, replacement, or credit.


Return process (if eligible)

  1. Submit a request: email info@premiumseat.ca with your order number, photos (if applicable), and the reason for the return.

  2. Authorization: if your request is approved, we will send you a return authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions.

  3. Shipping: Return the item to the address provided, in protective packaging.

    • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer (non-refundable).

    • For valuable items, we recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service.

  4. Inspection and decision: Upon receipt, we will inspect the item and confirm whether the refund/exchange has been accepted or refused.


Refunds

If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within a few days.
Non-refundable fees: initial shipping costs, return shipping costs, and any work already performed (for services).

Late or missing refunds

  • Check your bank account again.

  • Contact your card issuer (processing time may apply).

  • Contact your bank.

Exchanges (defects only)

We will only replace an item if it is defective or damaged upon receipt. Email info@premiumseat.ca for authorization and shipping address.


Gifts

  • If the item was identified as a gift and shipped directly to the recipient, a gift credit of equivalent value may be issued after receipt and inspection of the return.

  • If the item was not identified as a gift, the refund will be made to the original payer.


Deposits, appointments, and cancellations (optional—enable if relevant)

  • Reservation deposits are used to reserve workshop time and materials. They are non-refundable once preparation has begun.

  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule an appointment at no charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled time (email info@premiumseat.ca).

  • Late cancellation/no-show: the deposit may be retained to cover the reserved time.
